Leading a healthy lifestyle not only promotes good health but also promotes a healthy mind. Many believe that the lifestyle they are living are healthy, however with the consumption of unhealthy oily food, and unbalanced diet the lifestyle they are leading are far from healthy.
Promoting the healthy lifestyle at an early age is essential, as the officer from the Health-Promoting Unit, Department of School, Hjh Jamilah binti Hj Mohd Ali said during a healthy lifestyle talk to students from the Sultan Mohammad Jamalul Alam (SMJA) Secondary school students.
She was focusing on the health awareness in Brunei Darussalam especially for teenagers and students. She had illustrate her point to the students via a slide show presentation where she had isted the health problems most Bruneians faced and then explained the causes as well as few solutions to minimize these problems.
The objectives of the talk was to increase awareness of healthy lifestyles, to share information on major health problems associated with unhealthy lifestyles as well as to make aware that each individuals are to be more responsible to their own health.
